María José Cid, PHD from the University of Vigo with the thesis: The High Conservatories of Galicia during the LOGSE, is Professor of piano at the High Conservatory of Music of Vigo.
Her pedagogical work for more than 30 years has provided her a broad perspective in the field of teaching performance and expression, as a technical, musical and psychological level, and has developed a deep knowledge of various techniques that allow her to adequately evolution. in any field of learning. She also taught at the University of Vigo. At the High Conservatory of Vigo, in addition to piano, he teaches Emotional and Body Control Techniques, aimed at improving performance to the audience, where technical, physical and psychological aspects and stress management are combined. Her interest in personal and psychological development issues is broad and was born with the aim of complementing academic learning, in the search for learning that allows balance and internal well-being. His training is extensive in courses on body techniques (Alexander Technique or eutony), relaxation techniques, mindfulness, social skills, emotional intelligence, etc…, which give her a broad perspective on human development. She has a double degree in Piano and Chamber Music and also a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Zaragoza. She developed his quality of piano performance with Ludovica Mosca and Luiz de Moura Castro, also did courses with Alicia de Larrocha, Cecilio Tieles, Anna Jabstrebska, Blanca Uribe, Alain Motard, etc. He received the Guildhall School Piano Performance Diploma with High honours. He worked as a singing, string and wind pianist accompany for 10 years and gave concerts as a soloist in Spain, Switzerland and Portugal.
In her latest projects he has offered concerts for 4 pianos and orchestra and with the violin dúo Quintillan – Cid

She had also taught courses of stress management at the University of Minho ( Braga ) and Aveiro , both in Portugal , at the Conservatory F.Bonporti in Trento ( Italy ) and at the University of Arts in Tirana ( Albania )
In the academic year 23 24 she taught the stress management course at the Gallarate Conservatory (Italy) and at the Zagreb University of the Arts (Croatia).
