BIOGRAPHY ENGLISH

PhD from the University of Vigo and Professor of Piano at the Conservatory of Music of Vigo, she has developed a career that integrates performance, pedagogy, and research, focusing on the relationship between music, body, and mind.
With over 30 years of teaching experience, she has developed her own approach to piano pedagogy, based on the connection between technique, expression, and psychological balance. This work is reflected in the course Emotional and Physical Control Techniques for Public Performance, where she addresses performance anxiety from an interdisciplinary perspective.
Her training includes degrees in Piano and Chamber Music, the Piano Performance Diploma from the Guildhall School, and advanced studies with renowned pianists such as Ludovica Mosca and Luiz de Moura Castro, as well as work with Alicia de Larrocha, Blanca Uribe, Alain Motard, and Anna Jastrzębska, among others. In parallel, she has pursued extensive training in body-based techniques (Alexander Technique, Eutony), mindfulness, and emotional intelligence, shaping a distinctive artistic and pedagogical profile.
As a performer, she has appeared as a soloist in Spain, Italy, Switzerland, and Portugal, and has maintained an active career in chamber music and as an accompanist. Her recent projects (2026) include piano recitals in Florence and at the Conservatory of Music of Vigo, as well as an Didactic concert at IES Celso Emilio Ferreiro (Celanova), focused on the creative process and inspiration.
Her work also has an international dimension through courses and workshops on stress management applied to musical performance, delivered at universities and conservatories in Portugal, Italy, Albania, and Croatia, as well as at UNED (Spain), where she recently taught the course Well-being as a Way of Life.
Her work is guided by a vision of performance as an integral experience, in which artistic excellence and personal well-being are understood as inseparable dimensions.
